Finding Good Books

Reading books is one of the few ways that you can escape this world and enter another. It can help you to understand the human condition and gain a deeper understanding of the world and people who are vastly different from you. Reading is a great way to open your mind and quickly enhance your IQ and emotional intelligence. So, as you can see, if you want to become a better, smarter and more open minded human being, you should read as much as possible. So, we will now look at some good books to read that you can start with.

If you are a fan of fiction and especially fantasy, then you definitely need to read the Harry Potter series. The Harry Potter books define a generation and has been sold over 100 million copies. Other amazing fictional series include the Lord Of The Rings, The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe, The Hobbit etc.

Next, in the genre of business, the most famous books include Think and Grow Rick by Napoleon Hill, Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson and How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. These books help you to understand the world of business and how you can leverage yourself in order to become successful. Dale Carnegie’s books are fantastic for self development and will encourage you to become the best version of yourself.

Thirdly, we will look at some of the classics. These include Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Montgomery, Black Beauty by Anna Sewell, Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White, To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The Great Gatsby and much more. These are the books that were most likely required reading during high school and they are considered to be literary classics.

When it comes to finding the the best books, there are millions to choose from. You should merely use the above books as suggestions and I urge you to look for books that truly resonate with you. After all, books reflect who we are as a society and who we are as human beings. So, make sure to carve out time to read every day and your life and heart will become richer by doing so.
